Jack Bisbee (Sheriff, Stone, Mr. Perfect, etc.)
This is Jack Bisbee's first Chicago credit. Originally from Mt. Prospect, IL Jack graduated from the University of Iowa in 2005. Since then, he has worked on a number of short films throughout Chicago. Including Run to Me, which was featured in a film festival in San Francisco. Most recently, he toured with The Iowa Tent Theatre, where he played a number of roles in an original production. His favorite credits include, Silenus/Eros in Metamporhoses and Senex in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Jack is currently writing a two man sketch comedy show with a friend set to debut sometime this year. Thoughts on love: “I thought of that old joke. This guy goes to a psychiatrist and says, ‘Doc, my brother’s crazy. He thinks he’s a chicken.’ And the doctor says, ‘Well, why don’t you turn him in?’ And the guy says, ‘I would, but I need the eggs.’ Well, I guess that’s pretty much now how I feel about relationships. They’re totally irrational and crazy and absurd and … but I guess we keep going through it because most of us need the eggs.” -Annie HallSam Brown (Police Guy #2, Sports Guy, HOMEBOY4U, etc.)
Justin Cagney (Police Guy #1, Ex Girlfriend Guy, Mr. Right, etc.)
Justin Cagney was last seen in Pure Drivel’s Le Café Du Talent. He studied theatre at College of DuPage where he was awarded the John Belushi/Second City Memorial Scholarship. BYOB. NON-SMOKER PREFERRED.Lindsay Casella (Girl)
Lindsay is a co-writer, co-producer and actor for Next Stop Spinsterland. Lindsay, a true cynic of relationships, believed that finding love at a bar, long distance romancing and getting married on a remote, tropical island didn’t really happen… until it happened to her.Derek Czaplewski (Alfred, Wedding Guy, Museum Guy, etc.)
Derek Czaplewski can’t wait to be a spinster in real life. He practically lives like one now…except he doesn’t own any cats (allergies). When Derek’s not living an anticipatory spinster-like life, he often finds himself acting. An ensemble member with Hell In A Handbag Productions, Derek was last seen as “Rod Taylor/Mitch Brenner” in their smash-hit production of THE BIRDS. Other Chicago credits include work with Pegasus Players, ATC, Bailiwick, Silk Road Theatre and Emerald City, among others. In case you want to stalk him, Derek will be appearing in Circle Theatre's upcoming production of ENCHANTED APRIL. He would be remiss not to thank the lovely ladies of SPINSTERLAND - thanks gals! Derek’s perfect mate would enjoy spending copious amounts of time watching TV-on-DVD and eating pizza and ice cream with him. (Ben and Jerry’s is preferred…but open to most brands/flavors.)Stephanie Greenwald (Other Girl)
Stephanie is a co-writer, co-producer and actor for Next Stop Spinsterland. She trained in playwriting at Chicago Dramatists, trained in acting at The Ohio State University and trained in producing in fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants school. Favorite roles include Belle in Ah, Wilderness!, Gwendolyn Pigeon in The Odd Couple, and Kate in Sylvia. Stephanie is your one degree from Kevin Bacon, thanks to a movie filmed in Cleveland that went straight to video in 1997. Stephanie has always known that her perfect match would propose to her at a Dunkin Donuts.William J. Watt (Judge, Date Agent Guy, Wally Fairbanks, etc.)
Bill's thrilled to be involved in the first production; Lindsay & Stephanie's highly original and entertaining work. Bill's local credits include Henry in The Lion in Winter (St. Sebastian Players), Gabriel in Happy Endings Are Extra (Bailiwick), Dr. Bradman in Blithe Spirit (The Gift Theatre) and Stanton Case in Broken Glass (AWT) just to name a few. Other favorite roles include Gallimard in M. Butterfly and Jody in Lonely Planet (with Ty Burrell). Before settling down in 2000, Bill had been on 1,429 dates, and had eaten four times as many donuts. The donuts were good.CREW BIOS

Kelsi Crivaro (Costume & Props Designer)
Kelsi Crivaro, a Des Moines native, has been a Chicago resident since this past July. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Theatre Arts where she spent a considerable amount of time as an actor and an electrician. Always up for playing jack of all trades, she has enjoyed costume and prop design since it afforded her the perfect excuse for one of her favorite pastimes; thrift shopping. She's years away from thirty, but she hasn't been out dating in a long-time. She met her man almost four years ago. Where? In the theatre of course! They were in a play together. She was a murderous whore and he a multitude of awkward jerks. They hit it off immediately and have been together ever since.
Brigitte Ditmars (Choreographer)
Brigitte Ditmars is a freelance choreographer who has worked with various Chicago theatres. You may have seen her musical numbers at Porchlight Music Theatre (In Trousers), Emerald City Theatre (Cinderella), Open Eye Productions (Sondheim in the Park), Hell in a Handbag Productions (Rudolph the Red-Hosed Reindeer, Judy’s Scary Little Christmas), Brown Couch Theatre (Jacques Brel…Living in Paris), Live Bait Theatre (Camp Nimrod for Girls-Jeff Citation Nomination) and Bailiwick Repertory (108 Waverly, Pinafore!- Jeff Citation Recipient) as well as a handful of cabarets and pageants. She is an ensemble member of Hell in a Handbag and Open Eye Productions. Look for her this spring onstage in NINE at Porchlight Music Theatre. Thanks for supporting live theatre! Brigitte has many horror stories about internet dating. Buy her a drink and she'll tell you about “makeup man,” “awkward co-worker situation”, and “box office breakup”.
Elizabeth Bruins (Assistant Stage Manager)
Elizabeth is a joyful girl excited to be working with Not Quite Coy Productions. She has stage managed around Chicago, most recently with Factory Theater on Dirty Diamonds. Elizabeth has also worked in various capacities with Stockyards Theatre Project, Infamous Commonwealth, and n.u.f.a.n. While most of her romantic life can be found in the Ani DiFranco catalog, the one song that seems to be most evocative lately is “One Fine Day” by the Chiffons.
